Fields
All the fields, where Maca-GO™ (the sole ingredient for Femmenessence and Revolution) is cultivated, are USDA organically-certified. By 2008 all the fields used to grow or cultivate Quintessence, St. John’s Wort and Herbatonin will also be USDA organically-certified.

Manufacturing
NHI’s manufacturing plant in Peru, where processing of Maca-GO™ takes place, is also USDA organically-certified. To our knowledge, our plant in Peru is also the only one that does not use chlorine to clean and treat product for micro-organisms. NHI’s use of UV light for these processes means no potentially harmful, chlorine-related by-products. By 2008 the manufacturing facilities for Quintessence, St. John’s Wort and Herbatonin powders will also be USDA organically-certified.
